Eric Carmen - Boats Against The Current (1977)

The second solo album from the Raspberries main man Carmen.  The first self titled album included the hits "All By Myself" (which in itself has probably kept the wolf from his door) and "Never Gonna Fall In Love Again" - that outing was a real pop album by a professional plying his trade.  This album was more sophisticated with more lavish arrangements and a more produced sound.  The hit here was "She Did It" which I got the album on the back of, together with my liking to the first album.  He has an interesting vocal sound.  He had another couple of US hits (I think one from the Dirty Dancing soundtrack).
